Solar Splash is a solar-electric boat competition held each summer in which teams compete with solar-powered boats they have designed and built. This year’s competition will be May 27-31 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Each year, the WSU team works to improve our boat design in order to increase efficiency, endurance, and speed to improve our standing at the competition. As a team, we seek to provide hands-on project engineering experience and fostering increased awareness of engineering technologies and issues in our club, the university, and the world. We hope to provide team members with leadership and teamwork experience that will equip them to solve challenges in their educations and careers.
